Fogelman, a long-time entertainment industry veteran, started in music retail with high school jobs at the retail chain, Music Plus. After graduating from the University of Southern California from the School of Accounting, Fogelman earned his CPA while working at the Entertainment Division at KPMG. He then went on to the Anderson School at UCLA to earn his MBA. While at Anderson, Fogelman was awarded a patent for a CD-ROM device and parlayed that into a company built to market and support his patented invention. Combining his interest in business with his love of music, Fogelman joined the William Morris Agency (“WMA”) in 1994 and worked his way up to Executive Vice President where he oversaw both the Head of Motion Picture Department and the Intellectual Property and Strategic Development Department. Fogelman was a principal architect of the merger between WMA and Endeavor Talent Agency in 2009, resulting in William Morris Endeavor (“WME”), and served as a founding board member and an agent after the merger. He has represented several high-profile actors and filmmakers, including J.J. Abrams, Michael Bay, Courteney Cox Arquette, Whoopi Goldberg, Salma Hayek, and Eric Bana, as well as corporate clients, including Hasbro and HSN. Fogelman is best known for his leadership in building out Hasbro’s Entertainment and Licensing division. Additionally, Fogelman specialized in reimagining movie franchises such as Star Trek, Mission Impossible, My Little Pony, and Transformers.
In 2011, Fogelman left WME and formed FactoryMade Ventures with business partner Cris Patwa. An entertainment business development consulting firm and incubator supporting impactful companies that give back to the community, FactoryMade Ventures has a roster of inclusive companies, including Enroot Sparkling Cold Brew Beverages with the James Beard Foundation and Brad Pitt, El Rey Network with filmmaker Robert Rodriquez, Miraval Olive Oil with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Lucha Underground with Mexico’s leading Mexican wrestling company - AAA, Private Suite at LAX with TPG Capital, as well as consulting with Hasbro, Telefonica, and others. In 2020, Fogelman co-founded SaveLive with Marc Geiger.
